Exodus 1:15-22

From the beginning in the Garden of Eden, Satan has been against future generations coming into the world. This is seen clearly in Pharaoh’s cruel command to kill all the Hebrew male babies. Yet in this darkness hope shines, and we can gain insight as the Hebrews’ midwives feared God more than Pharaoh, leading them to practice civil disobedience by obeying God’s ways over the ways of man, protecting the children, and taking a stand against evil.
